Firm and expressive aromas of lemon peel, honeysuckle and orange blossom with just a hint of butterscotch. The palate is refreshed by concentrated flavors of green apples, pear, and pineapple followed by bright acidity that brings complexity to the rich and pure finish.

This vintage did not see a lot of rain but was overall a moderate growing season.    Light rain during bloom lowered crop levels, however, the berries that remained were concentrated.  A heat spike during August slowed down the ripening of the grapes giving the fruit depth and great flavors.  With the unfortunate occurrence of the 2017 fires, we were lucky enough to have picked all our fruit and secured in barrels before the smoke settled in.
